My TBR shelf is huge. I have a long list of books I need to read at some point. I will only list three because writing about over 200 books is kinda ridiculous and pointless. So my top three TBR books are; Red, White, and Royal Blue, The Hate U Give, and The Song of Achilles. These books are the highest on my TBR list because I have had them all for a long time, I have heard nothing but good reviews about them, and they seem like they might actually benefit me. They seem like the kind of books that enrich your life and are positive and happy.
Red, White, and Royal Blue: This book is an enemy to lovers' troupe. These two boys - son of the president and son of the King, a Prince. Originally something happened between the two and they hated each other. And as a consequence, the two had to pretend to be friends so the world didn't fall apart (seriously). So the two are forced to hang out and spend time with each other, and eventually, feelings start to appear on both ends.
I am looking forwards to this book so much and I have started it before. I wasn't in the mood for a romance story at the time and just haven't gotten back to it. I have heard that this book is an excellent example of enemies to lovers and just a good book overall.
The Hate U Give: This book is about a girl. That is about all I know of it. I have had multiple friends tell me it is a phenomenal book and I am taking their word for it. I am really looking forward to reading this book, if I remember right, this book talks about racism and other problems that need to be addressed more.
The Song Of Achilles: I started this book a while ago. From what I remember it was great. I just wasn't in the mindset to read such an in-depth book. The names and places confused me. I know the basic plot and I still really want t o read it. Maybe I'll do a buddy read? I am so happy I own this book and cannot wait to read it. I have heard nothing but positive things said about this book.
