This year I read about 100 books in total. They were very different in length, ranging from 50 pages to around 800. I started to get into horror and poetry this year but my favorite genres are still romance and YA probably. I have bought a ton of new books and I read a fair amount of them and I plan on reading the rest sometime in the new year.

Favorite Book That Made Me Cry -The Fault in Our Stars, Five Feet Apart, and The Gravity of Us
The Fault in Our Stars: This book is about a starting teenage romance, but the two lovers both have/had cancer. They find their way through the hard times together and form a beautiful love story like no other. This book made me cry because it was such a beautiful romance/love story between them. It made me cry for other reasons too... but I won't share those.
The Mortal Instruments: One of my favorite series for many, many reasons. Cassandra Clare made this whole entire new world that fit into the world we know. She made relatable characters that we grew to love over the six books. At the end of every chapter, there was a new cliffhanger that made you want to continue the story. I fell in love with the characters, the beautiful romances, and the wonderful adventures they went on.
The Ghosts We Keep: I found this book at a used bookstore but it was in great condition and I am so glad I bought it! I have never heard of this author, as they are a relatively new author. This book deals with love stories, coming of age, and grief. It was a heavier book but it still had a sense of humor incorporated in it at the right parts. I absolutely loved the ending! It was something I didn't entirely expect but still loved. Definitely a new favorite!
Eaternal Nocturnal: I am new to Webtoons and haven't found many good stories on there yet, but this one was exceptionally good. It is a romance but it takes a looooooooooong time for them to figure out their feelings, but it is worth it. unfortunately, the friend I had to recommend this to me failed to tell me that it ends on a cliffhanger. So I highly recommend it, just be prepared to wait for the next season.
This year I read so many great books and it is impossible to pick a favorite! There are just too many good ones. I had some of my friends recommend some amazing books to me which was amazing! Can't wait for next year's reading challenges and goals!!!
