Okay, I am just going to jump right in today.
I read a lot and have way too many favorite authors to list here and write about, so here are three.
I am going to start with my current favorite; Shannon Messenger. She wrote The Keepers of the Lost Cities, one of my favorite series of all time. I know it is for a younger age group but I can still love it. She wrote about such a fascinating world, I wish so much to be a part of it. She made me wish I could be with Keefe and Sophie and the crew going on such crazy adventures. She writes in a way where I can connect with the character and their hectic lives. I love all the names, creatures, and adventures she made for us readers.
JOHN GREEN: This guy has some of the most in-depth, wholesome, heartwarming books I have ever read. I mean he is a middle-aged man writing about two teenagers in love. (The Fault in Our Stars). He has some of the most meaningful quotes I have ever read, truly. I absolutely adore all of his books!!!!
“True terror isn’t being scared; it’s not having a choice on the matter.”
― John Green, Turtles All the Way Down
“There are infinite numbers between 0 and 1. There's .1 and .12 and .112 and an infinite collection of others. Of course, there is a bigger infinite set of numbers between 0 and 2, or between 0 and a million. Some infinities are bigger than other infinities... I cannot tell you how grateful I am for our little infinity. You gave me forever within the numbered days, and I'm grateful.”
― John Green, The Fault in Our Stars
Karen M. McManus
This author is my all-time favorite author for mystery novels, mainly murder mysteries. She always has a phenomenal plot twist and is always ready to mess with your emotions. She is a very well-known author I'd say but I still love her. She is constantly coming out with new novels and new ways to mess with her readers. I highly recommend her if you are trying to get into mystery or just a good book.
Take Care ~ M
