Book Recommendations

Some of my favorite books are completely different genres, but I can list a few from my most frequently read genres. I have recently found a love for poetry both reading and writing it. It is a beautiful way to express yourself and everybody writes it differently. With Young Adult books I find a love for them because it talks about real problems but it also shows me true love, hardships, and the side of life I can't always find in a mystery book. Some of my favorite YA are, Divergent (I know, kinda basic), Starfish (Akemi Dawn Bowman), and my newfound favorite; Girl in Pieces. All of these books show love, passion, hardships and real life. Moving on to murder mysteries, one of my favorites to stay up all night reading. Personally, I love a good murder mystery because I actually want to finish the book. I want to stay up way to late so I know how it ends. I have a harder time finding a good murder mystery because unfortunately, many authors have very predictable plots and plot twists. My personal favorites are You're Next, One of us is Lying, and any book by Willow Rose. I love a good plot twist but it has to be a little cliche, if it is totally unexpected I get the feeling the author is trying to be unique but I usually lose interest. Anyway, I find all genres are good but these are by far my favorites.
