Me and my family went up to a small town about two weeks ago to go camping. We found a small little bookstore both used and new books. There were some amazing books there! It had the cutest displays and short blurbs about books. The staff was super friendly too!
I bought five books, but I'll only talk about two of them. The other three are completely random books I have never heard of and I bought them so I could try something new.
BOOK 1:
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe
I have heard nothing but good reviews from this book. I am going off what I have heard other say and the back of the book, but I think it is about two boys forming wither a friendship or some other type of bond. They discover what it means to live and love and make friends that understand you.
I think this sounds good because I always love a good bromance or friendship. I love the dynamic of two boys together, it is just so different that it helps keep me interested in reading.
OVERALL: I am hoping to give this book at least 4 stars, but maybe 5.
BOOK 2:
To Kill a Mockingbird
This book has been on my TBR for so long. Part of the reason is I couldn't find it fora reasonable price anywhere (finally found one for $3)!! Part of the reason was it is a classic. I know it is so well known for a reason but I just couldn't bring myself to pick it up and read it. But I am thrilled to finally own it and I will read it very soon hopefully.
OVERALL: I am hoping to give this book a 4 star review, it is a classic and I have high hopes for it.
Lots of Love ~ M
